Blog Entry-IEP Progress

This would be a very hard situation to be in. I suppose I would have to do what the principle says, seeing as they were my boss. While I could not make notes explaining the A's I wonder if I could do some sort of parent-teacher conference to talk to the parents about how well their child has been progressing, but explain that they are still not on grade level. I could inform them that their student has progressed a great deal throughout the semester, and has been working towards their IEP goals, but there is still work to be done. I would hate to have parents think that an A in reading on their report card meant they didn't have to pay as much attention to an IEP.
